Most Alarm Systems rely on a combination of contacts and infrared detectors that are placed throughout the house.

Motion sensors, however, do not detect someone until they have already entered the house.

Beams, CCTV and outside sensors are also available and highly recommended.

It is advisable to plan the whole system carefully before the house is built to assure the correct placement of the different security products.
